PREBLE COUNTY CASA PROGRAM

There is a vulnerable child in our community who needs someone like you.

Experience the satisfaction of helping a child in need.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteers are ordinary people who do extraordinary things for our community’s most vulnerable children. By dedicating just 2-4 hours per month, every CASA volunteer makes a difference in the life of a child. Their best-interest advocacy helps ensure that children are safe, have a permanent home and have the opportunity to thrive.

Statistics suggest most children in foster care stay in the system for two years or so, during which they may change residences as many as three times.CASA volunteers are assigned to a child for the duration of a case. They are there throughout because a child's move means new foster parents, teachers, principals, guidance counselors. CASA volunteers frequently become the only consistent adult presence in the child’s life.

CASAs are community volunteers, just like you, who stand up and speak out to help abused and neglected children. Men and women who are willing to commit 2-4 hours per month to make a direct and lasting impact on our children. And make no mistake, these are OUR children. They are children you pass in the store or see on the playground. They are in the same classroom as your children and grandchildren. Like every child, these children need someone to step up and be their voice and to support them in their time of need.
